Citric Acid For Pickle

We are pretty careful about the chemicals we use in the workshop, and one of the best switches we made was from a commercial pickle that burned holes in our aprons, to this food grade citric acid.

To make up your pickle, mix approximately half of the bag into 500mls hot water in a non metal container, stir to dissolve. Pickle works fastest when warm, you can place your pickle container in an outer container of hot water.

Always use copper or wooden tongs to retrieve pieces from pickle, rinse thoroughly under water.

These home compostable ziplock bags are 15cm x 10cm and weigh approximately 180 grams.
