Create beautiful, consistent forms with these handmade wooden pottery moulds, crafted from recycled macrocarpa. With a choice of round and square shapes in a range of sizes, these moulds are useful for potters who enjoy hand-building, slab work and experimenting with the shape and structure of their ceramic pieces.

Wooden moulds provide a supporting form around which you can shape clay, helping you create consistent curves, rounded profiles and defined edges. They're particularly handy for working with slabs, forming dishes and shallow vessels, and creating repeatable shapes without having to build each form entirely by hand. Use them as a starting point for your own designs, then refine, trim and finish the clay to suit your style.

Choose a round mould for soft, flowing curves and organic forms, or a square mould when you're after straighter sides and more defined corners. The square moulds feature a 15mm foot, adding a raised base to the mould's profile.

Each mould is handmade from recycled macrocarpa, giving the timber a natural warmth and character. Variations in grain, colour, tone and shape are part of the appeal of working with reclaimed wood, so every piece will be slightly different.
