Bisque Moulds

Create beautifully shaped bowls with these practical handmade bisque moulds, made from clay that has been fired once to a bisque state. Designed to support your clay as you form it, these bowl-shaped moulds are a handy addition to any pottery studio, particularly for potters who enjoy hand-building and working with slabs.

Simply drape or press your prepared clay inside the mould to begin forming your bowl, then refine the shape and finish the edges to suit your design. Using a mould helps you achieve a consistent bowl profile, making it easier to create matching pieces or experiment with different finishes, textures and decorative techniques. You can also use the outside of the bowl for shaping, but the are textured/ lined on the outside so this will transfer to your clay.

Unlike wooden moulds, bisque-fired clay provides a ceramic surface for your work.
