Enamel Blu-Stic Cloison Adhesive

Thompsons Blu-Stic is a specialised adhesive designed to securely hold fine strip wire cells (cloisons) in place when working in the cloisonné enamelling technique. It provides an exceptionally strong hold, keeping intricate wire designs stable during assembly and firing.

The bond is strong enough to support cloisons on vertical surfaces, and in many cases allows pieces to be fired upside down without wires shifting - giving you greater flexibility and confidence when creating detailed or layered designs.

How to use:
Lightly dip each cloison (wire cell) into the Blu-Stic adhesive, position it onto your enamel surface, allow it to dry thoroughly, then fire as usual.

Blu-Stic can also be used to:

• Temporarily secure small metal embellishments before firing

• Hold fine wire details in place while assembling complex enamel layouts

• Stabilise lightweight components during careful placement
