Intense Black: Glass Rod

Beautiful glass rod, perfect for Lampworking!

Our rods are sold individually and measure approximately 5mm in diameter and 300mm in length.

This is Intense Black, a transparent deepest black - we find that this black does not bleed out as much as others, but it is worth trying a few different types of black to see what works for your project.

The cohesive expansion code for this glass is CEO104

Colour Code: T066

Working notes from our lampwork tutors:

This black is what we call a "hard" glass - because it holds it shape longer under the heat.
