Eco Casting Sand

Natural Eco Casting Sand Mix is a clean, natural alternative to traditional oil-bonded casting sands for jewellery and small-scale metal casting.

Supplied as a dry powder, simply add water to create a reusable moulding sand that's easy to prepare and store. Made from natural ingredients, it contains no oils or synthetic binders, so it won't smoke, burn, produce unpleasant odours, or catch fire when molten metal is poured into the mould.

If you're used to working with Delft Clay or other oil-bonded casting sands, you'll notice this product behaves differently. It is slightly less forgiving and is best suited to simple forms and textured designs rather than highly intricate or undercut patterns. The trade-off is a cleaner, natural product that is water-activated, reusable, and free from smoke, burning oils, and unpleasant odours.
