Rainbow Moonstone

This luminous Rainbow Moonstone cabochon is cut into an unusual curved triangular shape, measuring approximately 24.5mm by 18.5mm with a beautifully domed height of around 7.5mm, giving it a bold yet elegant presence.

The stone itself is exceptionally clear, allowing light to travel deeply through the crystal and reveal spectacular flashes of rainbow iridescence. As the stone moves, flashes of electric blue, soft violet, gold, and occasionally green shimmer across the surface, creating the signature adularescence effect Moonstone is so loved for - but with an added kaleidoscopic intensity in these particularly high-quality pieces.

Cleaning: Clean gently with warm soapy water and a soft cloth or brush. Avoid ultrasonic cleaners, steam cleaning, and harsh chemicals, as Moonstone can be sensitive to heat, vibration, and sudden temperature changes.

Maintenance:
Durability: Moonstone has natural internal cleavage, meaning it can be prone to chipping or cracking if struck sharply. Protective settings are recommended, especially for rings or frequently worn pieces.
Surface Finish: The highly polished surface enhances the clarity and allows the rainbow flashes to shift dramatically as the stone moves in the light.
