These hammers are from our knifemaking classes. Ideal for texture (use an old file to turn them into textured hammers!) or forming, blacksmithing or knifemaking.

Handmade Blacksmith's Hammer - this beauty was made especially for us by knifemaker and blacksmith Shay Stackhouse. It is a rounding hammer, aka a forging hammer, made from solid steel with a charred wood handle. It is 310mm in length, the hammer head is 97mm x 40mm with a surface of approximately 45mm x 45mm.
Block Hammer - steel hammer head with a wooden handle. 265mm in length, the hammer head is 100mm x 40mm with a surface of approximately 40mm x 40mm.
Cross Pein Hammer - Long Handle - steel hammer head with a long wooden handle. 370mm in length, the hammer head is 130mm x 35mm with a surface of approximately 35mm x 35mm. It tapers down to a curved 7mm wide wedge.
