Small moonstone cabochon. This is a long narrow teardrop shape with quite a high dome.
Stone is white with lots of clear rainbow inclusions and streaks and some darker spots. There is actually a decent amount of adularescence but the stone is very included.
This means it has a lot of character, but will be important to use a gentle hand when setting. We recommend using a fine silver bezel to minimise pressure while setting.
Measures approximately 17.8mm x 7mm x 4.5mm high at the dome. Nice flat base.
